A first appointment will include a thorough discussion and a comprehensive examination of your Neurological system. By the end of this visit, you should have an idea of the possible diagnosis, what tests might be needed, if any, and what your treatment options are.

Follow ups are not always required, but you may need one to discuss your progress and continue your care.

We work with most major insurance companies and will make every effort to bill the insurer directly so you do not have to. If you have medical insurance for example BUPA, or AXA please speak to the company and obtain pre-authorisation. Dr Raheem is fee assured so you will not have surprise extra payments.
Kindly bear in mind that consulting a private doctor establishes a contractual agreement between you and the said doctor. While private health insurance might offer reimbursement for all or a portion of the expenses, it is ultimately the patient's responsibility to cover all professional fees. Dr Raheem is fee assured so you will not have unexpected bills from him if you have appropriate insurance cover and the appointment is pre-approved by your insurer. It's important to note that investigations, such as blood tests or scans, are billed by the hospital or other service providers, not Dr Raheem, your insurance may cover this but this depends on your policy. To avoid any unexpected expenses for tests, please ensure that your insurance policy adequately covers these costs. In cases where the expenses exceed the policy limits, regrettably, the patient is liable for payment.
If you cannot make an appointment please let us know as soon as possible, late cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a charge to cover administration and hospital fees.
